Overview

The SIP-based 400 series IP phones are available in two models, IP480g, and IP485g, ranging from a basic phone to a more advanced backlit color display phone. The 400 series phones have superior sound quality on the handset and speakerphone, multiple line appearances, an ergonomic design, easy to read display, and convenient access to features including voice mail, directories and conferencing.

Changing your Availability State

Press the state soft key.
Press the ▲ and ▼ navigation keys to scroll through your availability states.
Highlight one on of the following states and click the Ok soft key.

Available
In a meeting
Out of office
Vacation
Custom

Changing Availablilty Rules

Press the Options soft key.
Enter your voicemail password.
Press OK.
Use the scroll keys to select the correct state and then press Edit.
Select one of the following options.
- Forward call always
  - Enter a destination extension or outbound number + the phone number.
- No answer
  1. Set the number of rings before forwarding.
  2. Set a destination to direct calls to when the call is not answered.
