1. Find an email that you would like to unsubscribe from.
2. Check the email to see if it looks like a phishing attempt.
You want to check the following items:
- Who is the email from?
- Does the email domain represent the company it came from? (fluidnets.com = Fluid Networks)
- How does the email look?
- Does the logo match the company name / logo?
- Are there mispellings?
- Does it "feel" like a legitimate marketing email?
- If you hover over the weblinks in the email, what domain is used?
- Does it match the email domain?
- Does it use other reputable domains? (Google, Facebook, etc..)
- ConstantContact
- MailChimp
- ***.infusionsoft.com
- ***.web-view.net
- etc..
If you suspect the email is a phishing attempt or if you are unsure about the email, use the "Report Phish" button in Outlook for Windows, Outlook Web or Outlook for Mobile. It is always to better to be safe!
3. Click on the 'Unsubscribe' link (usually found at the bottom the page).
